About Us
(FDMESC). We are a reputable diving company in Ghana, with over twenty years of experience in the marine and engineering industries. Our company has provided class-approved techniques, highly trained, experienced, and dedicated personnel, and on-time quality results to clients both locally and internationally. Our operations are conducted with a high level of efficiency and safety to ensure that our clients get the best service possible.
At FDMESC, we understand the importance of quality service delivery in the marine and engineering industries. We have a professional team with long-standing experience in construction works for ports, pier heads, bridges, tunnels, and pipelines. Our services are tailored to meet the needs of our clients, and we offer a great number of services to civil and port administrations, including underwater construction and inspections after collision damages, and the inspection and protection of jetties and sea beds.
Our diving team’s specialist services include diving in confined spaces to depth of more than 30m to secure any present pollution and marine damage. We have also worked on various projects, including the China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd Port expansion project, where we were awarded the diving team to deal with all underwater works. We also worked on the First LNG Floating Regasification unit (FRU), situated in Tema, Ghana, and completed the project successfully.
Our team is led by Mr. Daniel Kwame Nyanorni, a well-known professional diver along the west coast of Africa, having demonstrated exemplary achievement and distinguished contributions to shipyards, maritime and shipping industries in his field of practice. Our company has an excellent reputation, and we have associated partners in France, UK, Philippines, Canada, and the United States, allowing us to offer global solutions to our clients.
At FDMESC, we offer a wide range of services that include Port and waterways infrastructure, Underwater civil engineering, Ship inspections, maintenance, and repairs, Salvage works & oil spill management, Coating, sealing, and repairs, Rock and concrete demolition works, Design and manufacture of steel constructions, On-site machining, all types of Inspections (CCTV, Pictures ors Videos), and consultancy.

Our technical competence and professional integrity have earned us various accreditations, including Maritime engineering work: Category B – class 4, Subcategory A1 – raising/lifting vessels – class 3, Subcategory F1 – assembly and disassembly only of support structures – class 3, Subcategory F2 – construction of metal structures – class 4, and Subcategory V1 – installations for water treatment – provisional accreditation – class 1.
